Target Audience

This activity is specifically designed for laboratory technologists, managers and clinicians involved in the use of diagnostic test results to guide rational use of antimicrobials and in antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) programmes.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the course, learners should be able to:

  • Share country AMR situations - infection prevention and control measures, microbiology laboratory testing, and antimicrobial stewardship programs

  • Demonstrate course impact on AMR programs and antimicrobial stewardship

  • Increased advocacy and awareness through engagement with professional organizations and AMR learner community
