Learning Objectives

Course will provide updates on the unique role antigen testing has in the diagnosis of both HIV and COVID-19 with practical examples of how antigen testing fits into larger HIV and COVID efforts. At the end of the course, learners should be able to:

  • Describe recent innovations in testing technologies

  • Recognize differences between antigen testing and immunoassays or molecular tests

  • Provide examples of country-based testing strategies
