This activity is specifically designed for laboratory technologists, managers and clinicians involved in the use of diagnostic test results to guide rational use of antimicrobials and in antimicrobial stewardship programmes.
At the end of the course, learners should be able to:

Define healthcare-associated Infections (HAIs), its causes and the importance of infection prevention and control in healthcare settings
