Target Audience

This activity is specifically designed for clinicians, healthcare providers, and AMR stewards to address AMR at the hospital.

Course Curriculum

The course consists of 8 modules addressing a clinical syndrome. Each module will take approximately 1 to 3 hours to complete.

  • Module 1: Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs)

  • Module 2: Meningoencephalitis

  • Module 3: Surgical Site Infections (SSI)

  • Module 4: Skin and Soft Tissue Infections (SSTI)

  • Module 5: Community-Acquired Pneumonia (CAP)

  • Module 6: Ventilator-Associated Pneumonia (VAP)

  • Module 7: Bloodstream Infections (BSI)

  • Module 8: Infective Endocarditis (IE)

Course Directors

Dr. Carl Boodman, MD, FRCPC, DTM&H, CTropMed® is a Canadian infectious diseases physician, a medical microbiologist and a PhD Candidate at the Institute of Tropical Medicine/ University of Antwerp (Belgium). He is a Clinical Investigator Program Candidate at the University of Manitoba (Canada) and a member of the International Diagnostics Network.
