Learning Objectives

  • Take stock of progress in implementation of dual HIV/syphilis in ANC and highlight key lessons learned from scale-up that may be applicable to use of other RDTs in MCH settings

  • Highlight available RDTs for use in hepatitis B ANC screening and the potential role for other multiplex RDTs

  • Share country approaches to integration of hepatitis B screening into existing PMTCT programs

Agenda

The purpose of this course is to leverage lessons learned in dual HIV/syphilis testing to expand antenatal hepatitis B screening and promote integrated MCH services, the agenda is as follows:

  • Status and Scale Up of Dual HIV/Syphilis Testing in ANC

  • Integration of hepatitis B screening in ANC using RDTs
